A simple, genuine, efficient and flavourful gen in the heart of Pisa. You can expect quick services (although seating might entail some waiting time), authentic dishes and super friendly staff. The place is informal but is perfect for a quick lunch and a tasting experience of different dishes! Recommend the rabbit with olives :)
Absolutely the BEST food we had on our trip to Italy!!! It's actually homemade, tagliatelle with pesto was the best in my life. Don't skip the dessert! So worth the wait
Fabulous lunch. Very busy, arriving at 1.20 for lunch, there was a number of parties waiting outside. The restaurant has a ticket system and then seats parties in order as tables become available. You pick how many courses and select a first and second course. The food was delicious with the just the right size serves to leave room for the deserts. Great value for money, quick service and fantastic atmosphere.
amazing tuscan restaurant. ordered the cacciucco piccante and tiramisu - both delicious. best food i’ve had in pisa! the owner even came out and greeted each table. efficient service without feeling rushed
The food is absolutely delicious! The Cacciucco is absolutely divine, if you like your food a bit spicy it is a must. The prices are more than resonable for the taste. We got to meet the owner, who is now 90 years old. He told us that it is a family run business since 1963. I visited it at a recommendation of a friend, and it definitely was worth the waiting. It is a pity that it is only open during lunch, but seeing how intense things are, it is understandable.
Very authentic. Best Tiramisu I have ever had. The owner who founded the place years ago comes and greets you once. The pasta is delicious. Make sure to ask for peperincino if you like spicy. House wine is pretty decent too. Very homely environment. All the staff are super nice. Make sure you be there at 11.50 am as the place opens at 12 and may ger crowded pretty soon, especially if you go during peak tourist season.
Absolutely amazing. Every dish was authentic and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. At first I was worried that whatever we found in Pisa would be a tourist trap, but this ended up being the best meal we've had so far across all of Italy! It was so good that we ordered extras of a few things even though we could barely fit them in.
